it is not a new idea
nor is it a new question...
and yet it remains.
why does our taxation fail to reflect our values as a society?
we tax jobs
but not carbon emmissions.
and even our governments resist answering.
strategic taxation for global change.
companies would snap to attention if we taxed the shit out of toxic substances. we could make it very appealing, economically, to be a responsible citizen.
