mixed with sweat, dirt, soil and heavy breathing
shoulder to shoulder, thighs squeezing
watching in your brain with your eyes closed
as muscles you didn't even know you had
ripple underneath your skin
and the sheets retain just the right amount of heat
as bitten lips swell
stung by cold

fingernails dirty in my mind
